Police investigate homicide: Man shot near 77th & Kathryn; no one in custody

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday morning, January 13th on the city's northwest side.

It happened around 8:45 a.m. near 77th and Kathryn Avenue.

According to police, a man was shot during circumstances that remain under investigation at this time. The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Dominique Parker.

Police say Parker was pronounced dead at the scene.

MPD continues to investigate the circumstances leading up to the homicide and search for suspect(s).
