One dead, two injured following three separate shooting incidents
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shootings incidents that occurred Wednesday night, July 24th and early Thursday morning, July 25th.
The first shooting occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. in the the 4300 block of N. 26th Street. According to police, a 21-year-old man was shot and killed inside a residence by several suspects who forced their way into the home.
Investigators are working to identify the suspects.
The second shooting incident occurred at 10:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of N. 22nd Street. Officials say a 26-year-old man was shot while he was reportedly attempting to break up a large fight in the street.
He suffered a serious injury, but is expected to survive.
The last shooting incident occurred at 12:15 a.m. in the 2900 block of S. 43rd Street. Police say a 48-year-old woman sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound from a male subject who forced his way into her residence.
The relationship between the suspect and victim is unknown.
