MPD: Three shot, injured in three separate shooting incidents; no suspects in custody

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday night, December 24th.

The first shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. near 24th and Pierce. Police say the victim, a 24-year-old Milwaukee resident, was shot while attempting to obtain narcotics.

He was transported to the hospital by a friend, where he was treated for his injuries.  His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.  There are no suspects in custody at this time and the circumstances regarding the matter remain under investigation.

The second shooting occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. near 104th Street and Grantosa Drive. Police say the victim, a 24-year-old Milwaukee resident, was shot and was conveyed by the Milwaukee Fire Department to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.

There are no suspects in custody at this time and the circumstances regarding the matter remain under investigation.

The third shooting occurred near 43rd Street and Thurston Avenue around just after 10:00 p.m. According to officials, a 27-year-old Milwaukee resident was shot as the result of an ongoing argument.
