The Southeastern Wisconsin Veteran Suicide Prevention Task Force organized the third annual "Frost Fest" in partnership with the War Memorial Center.
Resource tables for veterans covered a range of health services. There was information available on VA benefits, housing, mental health, counseling, recovery, service dogs, homelessness and more.

Unclaimed veteran's remains stored 11 months due to 'clerical error'
The uncremated remains of an "unclaimed" US Marines veteran sat in a funeral home cooling system in Madison for 11 months.
"A lot of veterans are not good at asking questions or asking for help, so sometimes when they come here they see a festive environment," said Sean Clark, the War Memorial Center's program director. "It's a perfect place for veterans who are looking for some of their questions answered that they might not normally ask."
Vendors offered arts, crafts, games and more – including on-site acupuncture and other holistic services.
