Milwaukee shootings Saturday: 6 wounded, suspects sought

Scene near 25th and Burleigh

A total of six people, including a 1-year-old, were wounded in four separate shootings in Milwaukee on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Sherman and Capitol

What we know:

A road rage incident near Sherman and Capitol ended in gunfire at around 10 a.m., according to Milwaukee police.

A 1-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Two other people were taken to hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both drivers are in custody and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

Teutonia and Melvina

What we know:

Milwaukee police responded to the shooting scene at around 3:16 p.m.

Scene near Teutonia and Melvina

A 32-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Another patient was evaluated at the scene. 

The shooting is still under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to search for unknown suspects.

41st and Garfield

What we know:

Emergency crews responded to the scene near 41st and Garfield at around 5:45 p.m.

An unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The shooting is under investigation and MPD continues to search for unknown suspects.

25th and Burleigh

What we know:

Officers responded to the shooting scene at around 6:42 p.m.

A 20-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting is still under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to search for known suspects.
