Shooting on Hampton near Santa Monica

Milwaukee shootings wounded three people on Saturday, June 1.

What led to the shootings remains under investigation, and police are looking for whoever is responsible.

23rd and Cherry

Around 11:30 a.m., a 25-year-old victim was shot and taken to a hospital. Police said the victim had non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Hampton and Santa Monica

The Milwaukee Fire Department told FOX6 it is investigating a shooting of one person around. It happened around 8:30 p.m.

8th and Mitchell

Just before 11 p.m., a 33-year-old was shot and then went to the area of Cesar E Chavez and Orchard to get medical help.

The 33-year-old was taken to the hospital for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police say the shooting appears to be related to a robbery attempt.

The 33-year-old was taken into custody and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
