Man shot, wounded inside tavern on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred inside a tavern near Pierce and Cesar Chavez Dr. on the city's south side.

Police say an unknown suspect produced a handgun and shot and wounded the victim, a 22-year-old man. The victim is being treated at a hospital for his injuries. 

The motive of the shooting is unknown.
