Man shot, injured during argument on outdoor basketball court

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A 19-year-old man was shot and injured following an argument on the outdoor basketball court of the Thurston Woods Campus School playground Monday night, April 22nd.

According to police, the 19-year-old victim and his group wanted a turn to use the court.

During the argument a male suspect fired a shot from a handgun which struck the victim in the right buttock.

The victim was conveyed by a med unit to a local hospital where he was treated and released a short time later.

There are no suspects in custody at this time.

None of the people involved in this incident appear to be students of the school.
