Man critically injured after crash near 92nd & Capitol; alcohol believed to be factor

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that happened early Sunday morning, January 31st.

According to police, a 30-year-old Oconomowoc man was driving his 2013 Chevrolet Malibu northbound on N. 92nd Street at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred.

We're told the driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with a building at the corner of N. 92nd Street and W. Capitol Drive.

The driver suffered critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The preliminary investigation reveals alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
