Ice maker turned candy dispenser is absolutely genius

(WITI) -- Just in time for Halloween, it's a whole new way to serve up treats -- you can put them in your ice machine!

A guy named Deric Peace came up with the idea, and it's been blowing up on the website Reddit. So, he created a video showing just how well it works.

He's got a variety of frozen candies coming out of his cup.

It may be something you'll want to try at home -- just don't forget to shut off your ice maker.
