First snowfall comes a little late this year

MILWAUKEE -- The first real winter dusting was both an inconvenience for some drivers and a reminder of the season. It's been a while since drivers had to plow lots, and an unusually long time since drivers have had to cope with wet slushy roads.

Drivers are finding themselves reacquainted with the worries of winter driving. Driver Roman Blank says, "It's the first snow of the year so everybody needs to slow down. That's advice that comes annually, but a handful fail to listen.

Law enforcement usually advises that motorists keep their distance from other vehicles on the road. They're hoping to prevent type of accidents that usually increase in amount during the first snowfall of the year.
