Fire damages Moreland Medical Center in Waukesha

WAUKESHA -- Officials say a fire broke out at the Moreland Medical Center in Waukesha early Tuesday morning, June 26th.

Authorities say the fire started just after 2:15 a.m. in a building separate from the medical center's main building. Officials say some smoke did seep into the main building.

Fire officials say the building sustained extensive smoke and water damage on the inside.

No further details have been released at this time -- including possible injuries or whether the fire will disrupt any of the services offered.

The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation by the Waukesha Fire Department.
