Curtis ambulances deliver Christmas trees to churches and shelters

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- They usually deliver patients to the hospital in emergencies, but on Tuesday, December 17th, some Curtis ambulances were making a different kind of delivery!

Curtis ambulances on Tuesday delivered Christmas trees to Milwaukee churches and shelters.

They can then decorate the trees for the holidays.

"They are usually really happy because most of these churches have extra money during the holidays. They are usually serving or helping a more needy parishioner and they're not going to put the money towards a Christmas tree, so it helps to add a little of that Christmas spirit that we like," Jim Baker with Curtis Ambulance said.

Curtis has been doing this for over 20 years now.
