Bus driver honored for quick thinking on the job

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A Milwaukee bus driver was honored by the Milwaukee County Board on Thursday, June 20th for his quick thinking on the job.

While on his route, Ramon Barios noticed a car backing into an intersection. Inside was a little girl -- alone.

Barios took action -- jumping into the car and bringing it to a stop.

The little girl was not hurt.

"It's a lot of attention! I didn't expect it. Honestly, I didn't think. I just acted and did what I did," Barios said.

Right after picking up the honor, it was back to work for Barios.
