Brewers, Aurora Health Care surprise kids with trip to spring training
MILWAUKEE - Bravery and inspiration. That is how Aurora Health Care describes three young patients who have endured life-changing health challenges. The Milwaukee Brewers honored those kids on Tuesday, Feb. 4 with a surprise.
A Brewers surprise
What we know:
The kids thought they were getting a tour of American Family Field. But instead, they were welcomed to quite a surprise.
Blake, Natasha and Tyler are big Milwaukee Brewers fans – and also young patients at Aurora Health Care.

"It’s the bravery that really is admirable for these kids to carry them through the tough times," said Kevin Dahlman, MD with Aurora Health Care.
It is that bravery that landed the three with a VIP trip to the Brewers spring training in Arizona.

Each had an official signing day on Tuesday – and they answered tough questions from the media.

The three and their families will get to meet Brewers players, throw out the first pitch, and take part in team warmups. It is a partnership between the Brewers and Aurora Health Care.
Who are the kids
The backstory:
All three kids have gone through a lot of health challenges. Eight-year-old Blake Baker had a benign brain tumor.
"I literally couldn’t believe that this was the surprise, because for this kid, I think he – if he could pick anything in the world, this would be it," said Rebecca Baker, Blake's mom.
Nine-year-old Tyler Morano has progressive hearing loss.
"He came here when he was little – he does play baseball back at home," said Kristine Morano, Tyler's mom.
Nine-year-old Natasha Taylor's bones grow abnormally.
"Very excited. Humbled because she works really hard at what she does," said G.W. Taylor from Green Bay.
