Body found in Milwaukee River may be Kansas City man

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office has positively identified the body found in the Milwaukee River near Water and Erie Streets on Friday, September 6th through fingerprints.

Initial reports indicate it is a 52-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri. He was last known to be alive on August 30th -- and may have been in Milwaukee attending the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration.

The person's name will not be released until family has been notified.
