More than 8,000 baby bath seats have been recalled because the products may tip over, posing a severe injury risk to children.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) stated in a Dec. 11 recall notice that the baby seats violate the "mandatory standard for infant bath seats because they are unstable and can tip over while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death due to drowning."

No injuries have been reported from use of the baby seats, which were sold on Amazon from May 2024 through October 2025 for between $34 and $40.
What baby seats are being recalled?
Why you should care:
Approximately 8,960 YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seats have been recalled, and the products are sold in blue, gray, pink, and yellow.
CPSC officials said the bath seats have two detachable arms that are used as a restraint, four suction cups on the bottom, and three toys; a duck, a turtle, and a whale.
If I have a baby seat, what should I do with it?
What you can do:
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is urging consumers to stop using the bath seats and call BenTalk to request a full refund. Owners of the products should send two pictures of the recalled bath seats to BenTalk at bentalkhere@outlook.com.
The first photo should have "recalled" written on the front of the bath seat in permanent marker, and the second photo should display the bath seat disassembled with the parts removed.
