Holiday weekend box office results

The results of a highly anticipated holiday-weekend box office are in, and a popular movie franchise could possibly end early. Gino Salomone is here to break it all down.

"Avatar: Fire and Ash" stayed comfortably at the top of the holiday box office, adding $88 million over the holiday weekend.

Three holiday releases put up a good fight, including "Marty Supreme" which brought in $27 million.

"Song Sung Blue" and Sony's action comedy "Anaconda" also kept theaters bustling this past weekend, but none of those three could fend off the Disney animated sequel "Zootopia 2."
