26-year-old man arrested after responding to online ad
BEAVER DAM (WITI) -- Beaver Dam police say a 26-year-old man, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids has been arrested on a charge of use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime as a repeat offender.
Police say on Monday, January 27th, Bryce Lenz responded to an online ad posted by an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old boy.
Police say Lenz began conversation with the undercover officer, and sent sexually explicit photographs to the officer, whom Lenz believed was a 14-year-old male.
Police say through conversation, Lenz agreed to meet the "14-year-old boy" on January 28th for sex acts.
Upon arriving at the meeting location in Beaver Dam, Lenz was arrested.
He was charged on Wednesday, January 29th with use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, three counts of felony bail jumping and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping.
He is currently being held in the Dodge County Jail.
