Papa Diallo

A Milwaukee man, already sentenced to prison for reckless homicide in the deaths of two people in Milwaukee, will now spend more years in prison for crimes committed in Waukesha County.

Papa Diallo, 25, was sentenced to three years in prison and three years of extended supervision in Waukesha County Court on Thursday, Feb. 6. This is consecutive to the 25 years in prison that he is already serving following his conviction in a crash that killed two people in Milwaukee.

In the Waukesha County case, he pleaded guilty to one count of Fleeing/Eluding an Office Causing Bodily Harm or Property Damage. Other counts of 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Carrying Concealed Weapon, Possession of THC, Operating While Revoked, and Possession of an Illegally Obtained Prescription were dismissed, but read in.

The backstory:

Back in 2023, investigators say they pulled Diallo over for speeding just before midnight. Deputies say there was a crash and chase before Diallo tried to hide in someone's backyard.

"The information that we had from the passenger was that he was armed," said Waukesha County Deputy Sheriff McManigal.

Deputies then called in a specialty team to find the gun.
