MILWAUKEE — The number of people in the state testing positive for COVID-19 grew to 15,022 on Saturday, May 23. There have been 507 deaths statewide. More than 179,000 people have tested negative.
The Milwaukee County coronavirus dashboard showed 6,092 positive cases and 251 deaths related to the coronavirus in the county as of Saturday afternoon. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, however, reported 276 deaths in the county.
As of Thursday, the DHS website noted there were 8,688 cases that were listed as recovered — or about 58% of the overall positive cases.
