MILWAUKEE -- Hunger Task Force, Johnson Controls and FOX 6 are teaming up to Stomp Out Hunger during the opening day of Summerfest.
On the opening day of Summerfest, Wednesday, June 24th, donate three (3) non-perishable food items between noon and 3 p.m. and you’ll receive one free weekday admission ticket to get into Summerfest FREE that day. (Please note: the free admission ticket is good for admission to Summerfest on June 24th only, between the hours of noon and 3 p.m.)
Donations will be accepted at the Mid-Gate promotions Booth as well as at the North and South Gates. All donations will benefit Hunger Task Force.
Last year, Stomp Out Hunger collected 53,000 pounds of food. Over the past 10 years, Stomp Out Hunger has collected nearly 600,000 pounds! Hunger Task Force is Milwaukee’s free and local food bank. Food donations are accepted year-round and donations can be made online at hungertaskforce.org.
