"Biggest dealer in Sheboygan:" 2 men, 2 women charged, accused of selling drugs out of home

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- Two men and two women have been criminally charged -- accused of selling drugs out of a home on N. 11th Street in Sheboygan -- and a confidential informant told investigators one of the men charged in this case was the "biggest dealer in Sheboygan."The charges in this case are as follows:

Elderly man, woman killed in crash in Sheboygan Co. after their vehicle failed to stop at stop sign

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- An elderly man and woman were killed Wednesday, November 16th in a crash involving two vehicles on State Highway 57 at County Road FF in the Town of Rhine in Sheboygan County.It happened just after 6:30 p.m.Officials with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office say a preliminary investigation has revealed a vehicle was headed eastbound on County Road FF and failed to stop at a stop sign -- colliding with a vehicle headed northbound on State Highway 57.An 80-year-old man, identified as Lewis Schmidt, who was driving the eastbound vehicle died en route to the hospital.A 79-year-old woman, identified as Geraldine Schmidt, who was a passenger in that vehicle died at the scene.Both were trapped after the crash.

Construction worker hurt when he was struck by a vehicle in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN -- Sheboygan police are investigating after a crash in a construction zone that happened Tuesday, November 8th.Police say officers, assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, responded to the crash at Calumet Drive near N. 26th Street.An investigation revealed a 78-year-old man was headed southbound when his vehicle went through several traffic cones and struck a 46-year-old construction worker for KS Energy.The construction worker was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.The investigation is ongoing.

80-year-old Cascade man killed in crash involving "vacuum tanker" in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- An 80-year-old Cascade man was killed in a crash involving his vehicle and a "vacuum tanker."It happened Tuesday, November 8th around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road V and County Road NN in the Town of Lyndon.Officials with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office say the Cascade man's vehicle was headed southbound, and failed to yield the right-of-way to the eastbound vacuum tanker.The operator of the vacuum tanker wasn't hurt.Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in this case.

Sheboygan police ID 62-year-old woman killed in fire at Embers Apartments

SHEBOYGAN -- Sheboygan police have identified a woman killed in a fire at the Embers Apartment complex that happened on Sunday, August 21st.The fire happened around 4:15 a.m. at the apartment complex located on South Business Drive near Carmen Avenue.The body of 62-year-old Deborah Marsh of Sheboygan was found by firefighters in one of the apartment units.The Sheboygan County medical examiner has determined Marsh died as a result of smoke and soot inhalation.The State Fire Marshal is investigating this fire.

14-year-old boy in critical condition after he was pulled from the water in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN -- Officials with the Sheboygan Fire Department say a 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after he was pulled form the water at General King Park on Sheboygan's south side Monday evening, July 11th.The call for this incident came in around 6:30 p.m. A caller indicated a swimmer hadn't surfaced near the beach.Sheboygan Fire officials and police were dispatched to the scene along with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s officials, the Sheboygan County Dive Team and the United States Coast Guard.Police spotted the boy in the water, approximately 40 yards from the shore, in approximately five feet of water, and removed him.

Three suspects in custody in connection with fatal stabbing in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN -- Sheboygan police say officers caught one suspect and two others turned themselves into West Allis police in the wake of a fatal stabbing that occurred early Monday morning, July 11th.Police were called to the area of 12th Street and Clair Avenue shortly before 3:00 a.m. for reports of a stabbing.Sheboygan Fire EMS transported a 38-year-old man from the scene to Memorial Hospital -- where he died from his injuries.

SHEBOYGAN -- Sheboygan County authorities announced Monday, July 11th that the fatal pedestrian crash that occurred early Sunday, July 3rd is now being investigated as a hit-and-run accident.A 911 call came into the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center just after 4:30 a.m. advising that a vehicle struck a pedestrian on County Road P just north of County Road A, in the Town of Rhine.
