PITTSBURGH —The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired right-handed pitcher Yhonathan Barrios from the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for third baseman Aramis Ramirez and cash.The announcement was made by President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Doug Melvin.“Aramis has had a great career, and we have had the opportunity to be a part of it,” said Melvin. “He is still a very respected hitter when there is a chance to drive in runs.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Brewers fans on Monday, July 20th were in search of gnomes.The team hid Matt Garza gnomes in several spots -- and then posted clues as to where they were on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.The gnomes were autographed by Garza.The first gnomes were found at Cathedral Square Park in downtown Milwaukee on Monday morning.At 11:00 a.m., the Brewers released a clue that had searchers looking around Hart Park in Wauwatosa.That's where nine-year-old Sarah Simons found one of the gnomes."My brother's going to be really mad.
