MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Three Milwaukee Bucks players are represented on this year's NBA All-Star ballot.
Represented on this year's ballot are: guard O.J. Mayo in the backcourt, and frontcourt players Ersan Ilyasova and Larry Sanders. Mayo has participated in All-Star Weekend activities before in 2008 and 2009 as a part of the T-Mobile Rookie Challenge, but it would be the first All-Star Game appearance for all three players.
Voting for the All-Star Game began Friday at 2:30 p.m. CT. The 63rd NBA All-Star Game will be exclusively televised on TNT from New Orleans Arena on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. The All-Star Game, also broadcast live on ESPN Radio.
In Milwaukee’s history, 17 different players have made a total of 38 All-Star appearances as members of the Bucks, the most recent being Michael Redd in 2004. The complete list is as follows: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (6), Ray Allen (3), Vin Baker (3), Terry Cummings (1), Bob Dandridge (3), Marques Johnson (4), Bob Lanier (1), Jon McGlocklin (1), Sidney Moncrief (5), Ricky Pierce (1), Jim Price (1), Michael Redd (1), Alvin Robertson (1), Oscar Robertson (2), Flynn Robinson (1), Glenn Robinson (2) and Brian Winters (2). Among those players, Abdul-Jabbar, Dandridge, Johnson, Moncrief and Winters have been named starters.
