MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Retired Packers wide receiver Donald Driver made a stop at Boswell Books in Milwaukee Thursday afternoon, October 24th, to sign his new book 'Driven.'
The book was released Wednesday, October 23rd. It chronicles Driver's struggles to overcome homelessness and other troubles during his youth.
Hundreds of people lined up around the block for hours to meet #80.
"He's just a very classy guy and he's an unbelievable player. He never really wanted all the hype, he just went out there and played great," said Morgan Stueber.
Other fans we happy to see Driver come back to Wisconsin.
"He's a great role model. He does amazing things for Wisconsin and even now that he's done with football, he's still coming back. It's just wonderful," said Kristin Walsh.
Driver also had a signing Thursday evening at Barnes and Noble in Brookfield. People began lining up early in the morning for a chance to see Double D.
