KENOSHA (WITI) -- Fans of the Milwaukee Brewers are conflicted about Ryan Braun's comments from his impromptu news conference on Wednesday, November 27th.
Kenosha's Brat Stop is a popular gathering spot for sports fans. Fans of the Brewers, including restaurant owner Debbie Glembocki, have wife-ranging opinions.
"I feel bad for him. But that's probably the momma in me comin' out," said Glembocki.
Cubs fans Brian Andersen isn't quite as nice about the Braun situation, "He's a liar. He's a cheater. He even back-stabbed his own friends. I just think it's a shame that the guy doesn't have any accountability."
Inside Caledonia's Hitters Baseball Academy, Nick Schmidlkofer knows his once-favorite baseball player has some work to do.
"It's all gonna be with his performance, with his attitude towards the team, towards the area," said Schmidlkofer.
Hitters owner R.J. Fergus gives Braun some points for the effort.
"He's manning up, you know? Could he man-up a little heavier? Yes. You know, but it's, it's what he chooses to do on his apologies," said Fergus.
