As Packers leave Green Bay, they take some business with them

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- The departure of Greg Jennings and Tom Crabtree means the Green Bay Packers are guaranteed to have a new look come autumn. But it also means the players are taking with them -- some business.

Charles Woodson was cut. Donald Driver retired. Now Greg Jennings is headed to archrival Minnesota and Tom Crabtree is heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What's a Packers fan to think these days?

Gary Anders is not just a huge Packers fan, but the owner of the Green and Gold Zone in West Allis.

"But you got to remember, it's Christian Ponder. You know?" said Anders.

Jennings' departure is having an impact where his now old jersey is going in the store.

"They're going to basically be on our clearance rack," said Anders.

With so many Packers players leaving Green Bay, Anders says the only jerseys that hold their value are the starts who retire in green and gold, like Driver. Everyone else tends to be old news.

Packers fans like Mark Spychalski say while players like Jennings will be missed, he still has faith in the team.

"I am a Packer fan and I just think that the coach and Ted Thompson do a fantastic job," said Spychalski.

While Jennings and other names head to the discount rack, Anders says it won't be long before a new name emerges as a hot seller.
