Restitution ordered in fake Facebook stock case

WINNEBAGO COUNTY -- The woman who sold fake Facebook stock will have to pay nearly $300,000 for her crimes.

Marianne Oleson was convicted of scamming acquaintances, friends and family out of tens of thousands of dollars. Oleson is currently serving a seven-year prison term.

The $300,000 is going to be split among three separate victims of Oleson's. One victim will get $13,000, another will get $234,000 and a third will get a little over $29,000.

Some of Oleson's victims have already been paid back, and some requested later court dates to find out how  much they'll be owed.
