ERIN -- An elderly Wauwatosa man passed away from natural causes at the U.S. Open Championship at Erin Hills Friday, June 16th. He was 94.

The medical examiner was called to the scene around 2 p.m.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the elderly spectator died while attending the event near the sixth hole. Rescue personnel arrived within approximately three minutes of the call and began CPR. The man was transferred to an on-site ambulance where he was pronounced dead.

No foul play is suspected and the death appears to be of natural causes.
