JEFFERSON CO. (WITI) -- An unimaginable accident in the Town of Ixonia. A 2-year-old child is flown Flight for Life after falling out of a window on the second floor of an apartment complex on Friday evening, July 11th.
Officials say a call came in around 6:15 p.m. reporting that a child fell out of a window at an apartment complex on Marietta Ave., landing on a concrete ground.
The Jefferson Co. Sheriff's Office responded to the incident and remained on the scene until the girl was transported by Flight for Life to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee -- officials will not say the child's condition.
The Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the incident, it is unknown if the fall was an accident or involved foul play.
