"To fall in love with anyone, do this:" Can 36 questions really make you fall in love with a complete stranger?

NEW YORK (WITI) – Can 36 questions asked in the right order really have you falling in love with a complete stranger?

That’s the premise of an article trending on the New York Times website this week.

To Fall in Love with Anyone, Do This” is the title of the essay by Mandy Len Catron.

In the story, Catron recounts the first date she had with a man she casually met at the gym and had quietly followed on Instagram.

In the column, Catron then runs through their experience with the 36 questions Dr. Aron writes about.

And that is the point.  As the questions get more intimate, so does the relationship between the strangers.

So did it work for Catron?  If you don’t want us to spoil the ending of the essay, you should stop reading this article now and go read the whole New York Times essay here.

If you are still reading you want to know the answer.

Here’s how Catron concluded her column:

So what are these magical 36 questions?

Here they are from the study by Arthur Aron.
