Summerfest grounds ready for Harley-Davidsons 110th
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- One of the focal points of the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration will be all the activity taking place at Maier Festival Park.
Harley-Davidson Product Communications Manager Matt King says Thursday through Saturday will be full of activities highlighted by 60 different music artists performing on five Summerfest stages.
“We’ve got, really, something for everyone—in terms of musical tastes. We’ve got bands, ranging from ZZ Top, Common, Lupe Fiasco, The Doobie Brothers. They’re gonna be playing all day, every day, at all those stages,” said King.
On Wednesday, August 28th, the information booth staff lookrf at the layout during a tour of the grounds. With both bikes and booths moving in, King says this is the proper place to party the Harley-Davidson way.
"Summerfest is such an incredible resource that we have here, in Milwaukee. I mean, the facilities, down here, are second-to-none. We can handle the biggest crowds we can possibly pack in here. We know it’s gonna give our fans and our customers an awesome experience," said King.
