MILWAUKEE -- St. Rose and St. Leo Catholic School was evacuated Tuesday morning, March 8th after a bomb threat was called into the school.
According to school officials, around 8:15 a.m. an unidentified person called St. Rose and St. Leo Catholic School stating that there was a bomb in the building. The police were called immediately.
The administration then evacuated students from the building. The administration and support staff then checked the entire building to verify all students were evacuated.
All students were escorted to Marquette University High School, which is two blocks from St. Rose and St. Leo.
Jim Piatt, president of Messmer Catholic Schools and St. Rose and St. Leo Catholic School said this in a statement:
