Sinkhole swallows three cars in South Chicago neighborhood

(CNN) -- A sinkhole swallowed three cars early Thursday, April 18th in a South Chicago neighborhood. Keep your eyes on the white car -- the ground gives way and it tumbles into the hole.

One person had to be pulled out of the crater in South Deering and was taken to a local hospital.

There was heavy rain and flooding in the area overnight -- but it's not clear if that caused the ground to open up. Firefighters and police are on the scene, keeping spectators away.
