MILWAUKEE -- A 49-year-old Omro man suffered minor injuries after his FedEx double-trailer semi rolled over on southbound Highway 45 just north of Good Hope Rd. Tuesday night, July 17th.
The wreck happened just after 10 p.m. No other vehicles were involved.
When Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies arrived on scene, the found the semi positioned upside down in the grassy area adjacent to the freeway. Roughly 100-150 feet of guard rail was damaged as a result of the crash. All traffic was reopened at 7:30 a.m.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. At the time of the crash there was a heavy downpour of rain. The driver was issued a citation for “Failure to Maintain Control of Vehicle.”
