Ryan Baltz sentenced to four months in prison for involvement in shooting

MILWAUKEE -- Ryan Baltz was sentenced to four months in prison Tuesday, October 9th for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident near 70th and Fond du Lac Ave. back in May. Baltz must serve 18 months of initial confinement, followed by 36 months of extended supervision as part of his sentence.

According to a criminal complaint in the case, Baltz and a friend were at a party when after a fight, they were told to leave.

Baltz and his friend then returned in the early morning — and allegedly fired shots into the house where the party was being held.

The criminal complaint indicates Baltz and his friend then returned to the home where the party was being held early the next morning, and intentionally fired a gun at the home.

Police got a break in the case when Baltz made a full confession of his involvement on a recorded call from jail to his mother.

Baltz “later provided a full confession to the shooting in the presence of his attorney and a police officer.”
