MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says a reckless driver caused a wreck that shut down the southbound lanes of I-94/43 at Oklahoma Ave. Monday morning, May 28th.
The wreck happened just before 11 a.m. Officials say the driver who caused the wreck struck the back of a camp/trailer. That collision caused the trailer and the pickup truck pulling the trailer to roll onto their sides.
Two people in the pickup truck were taken to a hospital. They were complaining of back injuries.
The driver who caused the accident was cited for reckless driving, driving without insurance and suspended license. The driver also refused medical attention.
The freeway was reopened to traffic around 12:30 p.m.
