RACINE (WITI) -- A 20-year-old Racine man faces two criminal charges including lewd and lascivious behavior and disorderly conduct for acting inappropriately in a library. The accused is Tyree Carter.
The criminal complaint against Carter indicates staff at the Racine Library on Seventh St. spotted Carter masturbating in a corner of the library -- allegedly in public view. They immediately called police.
The complaint indicates when police questioned Carter, he did not deny the actions to which he was accused.
If convicted, Carter faces up to nine months in prison plus $10,000 in fines.
