Suspicious death investigation
Milwaukee Police investigate and the Medical Examiner responds to an area near 5th and Becher after a body is found underneath a bridge.
MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police said a 54-year-old man is in custody after a 55-year-old man was found stabbed to death near 5th and Becher Sunday morning, November 5th.
Police initially called this a death investigation, and the medical examiner was called out to the scene.
On Sunday evening, they offered an update -- indicating this was a fatal stabbing and a man was arrested for the crime.
The victim has been identified as Victor Rogers. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
