Teenager shot near Hopkins and Courtland



MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police said a 17-year-old boy was shot and wounded near Hopkins and Courtland Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 29.

It happened shortly before 4 p.m. during an altercation.

The boy was seriously injured.

Neighbors said the violence must stop.

"All this black-on-black crime -- this all need to stop. This shooting innocent babies -- all this stuff need to stop. Gun violence need to stop period," said Shamaleta Nash, neighbor.





The investigation is ongoing.
