Upon arrival, a 22-year-old man approached officers and, while being detained, informed them that there was a subject suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle at the end of the parking lot.  A firearm was recovered from the 22-year-old man.

The officers located a 57-year-old man deceased in a vehicle in the parking lot. The man has been identified as a Manitowoc resident.  A large frame firearm was also recovered from within the vehicle.

The 22-year-old man was cooperative and gave a statement that he had driven the deceased man to the area so he could obtain funds to pay for work that had been done on his vehicle.
