Fire officials were notified about the fire via a paramedic unit at the hospital. We're told a man who was burned was a patient inside at room in the ER, and we're told the man was on oxygen. He was apparently moving some things around in his pocket and may have flicked a lighter in his pocket -- causing the fire.

The patient was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.

The emergency room did not have to be evacuated.

It is believed that this fire was accidental in nature.
