Squad car hit, 4 teens arrested
Four teens were taken into custody Tuesday night following a police chase and crash in Milwaukee. A Milwaukee police squad was hit.
MILWAUKEE - Four teens were taken into custody Tuesday night, Jan. 2 following a police chase and crash in Milwaukee. A Milwaukee police squad was hit.
According to police, shortly after 6:45 p.m., officers began pursuing a vehicle taken in an armed robbery. The pursuit began near 6th and Oklahoma. It ended near 20th and Oklahoma after the fleeing vehicle crashed into another car.
After striking the other vehicle, the fleeing driver then crashed into a marked police squad.

Two 17-year-olds, a 16-year-old, and a 15-year-old were taken into custody and a firearm was recovered.
The vehicle that was initially struck by the fleeing driver was being driven by a 23-year-old, who suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The four subjects taken into custody were also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
The marked squad car struck by the fleeing vehicle was occupied by two police officers. A 53-year-old officer and a 54-year-old officer were taken to the hospital for non-fatal injuries and are expected to recover.
Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
