Milwaukee shootings Friday; 1 dead, 1 wounded

49th and Mill, Milwaukee

Separate shootings in Milwaukee on Friday, Jan. 24 left one person dead and another wounded. 

No arrests have been made.

Unknown location

What we know:

A 30-year-old was wounded in a shooting around 10:59 p.m. at an unknown location. The victim arrived at the hospital for treatment of injuries. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. 

49th and Mill

What we know:

Around 11:45 p.m., a 33-year-old man sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

The medical examiner has identified the man as Jharvez Reid. 

This investigation is ongoing, and Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect(s).
