MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are gearing up for the big US Bank Fireworks Show -- set to begin around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 3rd over Lake Michigan and Milwaukee's Veterans Park.
Police are reminding folks that streets around downtown Milwaukee and the Lakefront will be closed temporarily Sunday night due to the fireworks show. That includes North Lincoln Memorial Drive and the Hoan Bridge.
There will be Milwaukee police officers on foot, on bicycles, on motorcycles, in squad cars and on the water Sunday night -- working to keep you safe and to ensure a fun time for all.
