MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Parks Director John Dargle, Jr. will open the 2015 golf season with the annual “group tee-off” at Currie Park Golf Course, Tuesday, March 31st at 11 a.m.
The annual event marks the official opening of all 15 Milwaukee County Parks golf courses.
“Milwaukee is ready for spring,” said Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele. “Even prior to the official kickoff of the golf season at Milwaukee County Parks courses, we’ve already had golfers come out to play over 2,000 rounds. This is the latest proof that the Milwaukee County Parks golf courses are a premier destination for golf in the region.”
During the tee-off event, and through early April, golfers will enjoy the lowest rates of the year. All golfers will pay the lowest posted rate, and golfers who have the Milwaukee County Parks Golf Discount Card will begin earning Rewards points with their first round.
During the peak of the regular season, patrons with the card save up to 50% on green fees at any of the County’s top courses, excluding the Par 3s. Rewards points can be redeemed for free green fees.
Reservations are recommended. Tee times can be booked through the phone reservation system at (414) 475-6222, the online reservation system at milwaukeecountygolfcourses.com or at the course. Golf is on a first-come, first-served basis at the Par 3 courses.
