The man charged with shooting and killing three people in less than 30 minutes in two different parts of Milwaukee is heading to trial as prosecutors are now accusing him of witness tampering.
"She was a beautiful person. Loves family, loves her siblings, she loved everybody. She would help anyone. She served our country, and she stood up for herself before her life was taken," Hare's mom, Tarisha Hare, said.
The family says Shamarla served in the Navy and was honorably discharged, but an inactive veteran's funeral isn't fully covered.
The family created a GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden.
