Crash into Milwaukee building, child injured

An SUV crashed into a building near 14th and Galena on Milwaukee's north side Saturday afternoon, May 13. One child was taken to a hospital.

MILWAUKEE - An 11-year-old boy is seriously injured after the car he was in crashed into a building on Saturday, May 13.

Milwaukee police said the crash happened around 3 p.m.

An SUV was swerving back and forth and lost control colliding into a building. The driver ran from the scene, but the passenger was ejected from the SUV. The boy was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Milwaukee police said the vehicle was a stolen vehicle, and they are looking for the driver.
