MILWAUKEE -- We're learning new details about the OWI arrest of Marquette University Police Chief Paul Mascari.
According to the Marshall Police Department in Marshall, Wis., Mascari, 41, from New Berlin was arrested Jan. 17 during a traffic stop. It happened around 1:30 a.m. in the Village of Marshall. He was arrested for OWI, first offense, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
Mascari was later released to a responsible party.
In a news release, Marshall police noted a first offense OWI carries a possible fine of $937.50 and failure to stop at a stop sign carries a possible fine of $175.30.
The investigation is ongoing.
